Where are your ingredients sourced from?
To create the Peace Out blend, we worked with a US based manufacturer and a certified Doctor of Pharmacy for guidance. Our manufacturer is an FDA registered facility, as well as USDA Organic certified, and ASI Food Safety certified. Our mushrooms are sourced within the US.
Our mushroom extracts (reishi, cordyceps, and chaga) are made from certified organic mushrooms, grown naturally on substrate materials native to each particular mushroom.
No sterile laboratories, sterile air, sterile growing environment or artificial lights. No unnatural substrates made of cereal grains or rice.
They are grown in greenhouses with natural lighting and natural fresh air flow. We want our mushrooms to be grown the same way you want your food produced – on a farm tended by real people not in a laboratory managed by technicians.
Our organic ashwaganda root is sourced from India.
Our organic Maca 4:1 extract and cinnamon bark is sourced from China.
We are committed to sourcing organic ingredients where possible, and continually seek suppliers who are transparent about their supply chain.
ADAPTOGENS: How long do they take to work?
Everyone is different, and we recommend consulting your doctor prior to taking any dietary supplements. The Peace Out blend is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. With that said, most people start reaping the benefits of the Peace Out blend within 4-6 weeks. As with any wellness regimen, we want you to get the most out of it. We highly suggest tracking your experience with digestion, physical sensations, and mental changes in conjunction with taking the Peace Out blend to realize the benefits in that time frame. Are adaptogens legal?
Yes - 100%. Adaptogens are herbal pharmaceuticals. They work to counteract the effects of stress in the body. Stress causes very real physical changes in the body, including harming the neurological, endocrine, and immune systems. Adaptogens have stimulant properties that help counteract those harmful effects.
If Adaptogens are legal, then why does Forfolk support MAPS?
We are huge fans of adaptogenic mushrooms, and believe that they are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to harnessing the benefits of all mushrooms, including psychedelic mushies. We are on a mission to bring wellness to the masses and that includes exploring natural medicines and supporting further research through legalization and education.

Are you a sustainable company?
We are not (yet). We are making an effort to do so by shipping all of our products in 100% compostable packaging (including shipping label and stickers) for apparel and accessories, and a 100% recyclable shipping box with recyclable paper tape and stickers. We are also making an effort to track our carbon footprint. Our capsule bottles are made of 100% virgin PET, and can be widely recycled. We are working on getting a more earth and people friendly packaging solution as we grow. As founders of the company we are also continuously learning and are open to feedback and working together to find the best possible solutions.
What do you do for the community?
Forfolk exists to awaken our awareness of how we treat ourselves, our communities, and our planet.
We believe that education and access to healthy behaviors and remedies can be a key to building wellness in our society. Realizing that many people simply lack an understanding of or access to healthy behaviors, we have pledged to ensure education and access to physical and mental health for one million people in the next decade.
It’s a massive goal, but, thanks to our incredible community, we are going to make a difference in the world. We will provide cash donations to the National Alliance for Mental Illness to help create wellness opportunities for the benefit and enjoyment of people of all ages, abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds. We will do this by donating 1% of proceeds from every purchase on www.forfolk.earth.
We also believe in the medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the thoughtful uses of psychedelics. So we have partnered with MAPS, the leading psychedelic research organization with a mission to create safe, legal and beneficial opportunities for psychedelics in medicine in society (maps.org) around research and education. In the near future, we hope to host Global Psychedelic Dinners in an effort to gather our community, start a conversation, and raise funds to make psychedelic therapy a legal treatment.
